Gosforth Leisure Centre on Regent Farm Road is a short walk from Regent Centre Metro Station and describes itself as a welcoming family leisure centre with two pools. The 25-metre pool offers fitness lanes on one side and a fun open family space on the other, while the small teaching pool is perfect for families with babies to enjoy the water together with pool toys and floats. There's a two-floor gym, sauna and steam room, and over 40 classes a week including group cycle, yoga, Pilates and aqua aerobics. Children's swimming lessons cater for all levels, and the centre partners with Newcastle Swim Team to support young swimmers.
