Attraction Information

Norfolk Tank Museum gives you the chance to explore tanks and military vehicles outside and in! You can climb aboard and even experience what it is like inside as you operate some of the controls!
Included in the collection are Chieftain and Centurion tanks, plus amphibious trucks and scout cars. There is a surface to air missile system and displays of smaller objects like guns and kit. Kids (and adults!) can even try on some real uniforms, a great photo opportunity when you include the full kit.
The friendly staff are entirely made up of volunteers, many of whom are ex serviceman and therefore extremely knowledgeable, about weapons and history with a lot of technical detail.
There is an armoury with a number of heavy guns and automatic weapons to see and an opportunity for a ride in one of the tracked vehicles over the proving grounds for a small additional fee.
An interesting and exciting place, that will also give kids something to think about.
