National Centre for Writing

About National Centre for Writing

National Centre for Writing is a dynamic literature house for contemporary writing, based in the magnificent medieval Dragon Hall in the centre of Norwich. NCW works with hundreds of young people and families every year to support a life-long love of writing, ideas and books. We run family-friendly storytelling sessions and hands-on crafty activities; relaxed creative writing holiday workshops led by experienced tutors; and trips and tours of Dragon Hall for school’s groups. There’s lots on for adults too! From creative writing workshops and courses to book groups, author events, and residencies for writers and literary translators across the world. Our doors are open to everyone, in person and online, throughout the year. Visit the NCW website for more information about what’s on.
