Eaton Park is a hidden gem, with so much more to do than you think and conveniently located close to the centre of Norwich.
The enormous and always lively children's play area has a wide variety of play facilities spanning several age ranges and is suitable for most abilities.
The fun 18 hole pitch and putt course is ideal for kids and can be found at the Bluebell Road end of Eaton Park and is open at 9am. The last tee-off varies according to the time of year. The putting green is near the bowls lawns on the South Park Avenue side near the model boat clubhouse, apply at the kiosk near the boating pond for putter and ball. Bowls and croquet are also available.
The very popular skateboard and BMX park meets national standards and is lit after dark. Find it on the South Park Avenue side near the Community Centre.
Eaton Park also has 4 new all weather, floodlit hard tennis courts near the pavilions, access by the lily pond. These are managed by Eaton Tennis Club who run regular classes and day camps for kids but the public will be able to use them too.
Model boating people say that the boating pond is the best in the country. Any don't miss Eaton Park's miniature railway - one of the park's most popular attractions with kids.
