Attraction Information
Highball Climbing welcomes families and is a great location for kids to get started. This competition grade bouldering wall is the largest in East Anglia counting in at an impressive 4.5m high and 500sq m long, with the top ropes themselves running up to 7.5m!
There are a range of climbing and bouldering taster sessions available with enthusiastic and kid friendly experts who are also keen on safety. These include Fun Blocs for 8 to 13 years olds and Little Blocs for 4 to 8 years.
For the family with an even smaller climber they also offer the Bloc Tots parent and toddler group. This is free to attend, safely roped off from the other activities and features custom made mini boulder 'Tot Blocs' with big colourful holds.
There is a 5 level Bloc Stars Program for over 8s who are ready for improvement. They will learn loads of enhanced skills pertaining to safety, physical technique and etiquette throughout this course.
Please be aware that if you're bringing an experienced climber they will be required to demonstrate their competence before climbing unsupervised, so allow a little extra time for this or pre arrange with the folks at Highball.
