About Norwich Puppet Theatre

As well as hosting a variety of touring puppetry companies from Britain and overseas, Norwich Puppet Theatre features the best of British and international theatre of animation for all ages, they present an ongoing programme of craft based workshops for children with special sessions for adults.

The venue has level access throughout and they can accommodate wheelchairs in both the Main Theatre (which also has a hearing induction loop installed) and Octagon Studio. Unless otherwise stated the minimum age for a child to attend a performance is 3 years old.

Performance programming is varied regularly so repeat visits are just as charming and surprising as the first time. The concepts are often linked to known fairy tales or myths and legends, making them inherently appealing to children and generally tasteful in terms of subject matter unless otherwise referenced with the age limits posted. You know what some fairytales are like, especially the old ones!
