Our food is made using the best local, ethical and sustainable ingredients, all freshly prepared daily by our Catering team. We only use products that contain sustainable palm oil or none at all and we have also stopped selling single use plastic bottles across site.

Newquay Zoo is easily accessible by a variety of transport options, making it easy for visitors to choose a sustainable way to travel. If you're driving, set your Sat Nav to TR7 2LZ—just off the A3058, one mile from Newquay town centre. There’s a large Cornwall Council car park adjacent to the zoo with over 800 spaces, including designated bays for blue badge holders. However, if you prefer not to drive, there are plenty of other options! The zoo is well-served by regular bus routes, with stops nearby, and Newquay train station is just a 10-minute walk away or a short bus ride. For those who enjoy cycling, there’s a bike rack in the car park for visitors arriving on two wheels. Additionally, from Easter to October, you can take the Land Train for a scenic, eco-friendly journey around Newquay, with the zoo being the final stop. Whether by bus, train, bike, or Land Train, we encourage you to travel sustainably and help protect the planet—just like we do at Newquay Zoo!

There are regular bus services that stop at Newquay Zoo.
Newquay train station is located in the town centre, which is just a short 10 minute walk to Newquay Zoo. Alternatively, you can catch a bus from the train station which will bring you directly to Newquay Zoo.
Alternatively, hop on the Newquay Land Train and take an open air journey around Newquay. The journey will take up to 1 hour, with Newquay Zoo being the final stop. The Land Train runs from Easter until the end of October, with services running hourly.
