Attraction Information
Bedruthen Steps is an extensive and picturesque sandy beach for walkers and sunbathers.
Set off along the stunning South West Coast Path to visit the Iron Age fort of Redcliff Castle nearby, and have the chance to see petrels, shags, fulomar and razorbills nesting along the cliffs.
Dogs are welcome but entering the water is not advised due to strong riptides and other dangers, so there is no lifeguard cover.
There are toilets available in the car park, tea room and garden in Carnewas nearby. The National Trust has rebuilt the steep cliff staircase to the beach, but visitors need to be aware of the risk of being cut off by the tide so look into it before you go, please or you may get more adventure than you bargained for!
