All-Weather Family Fun

Whatever the weather has planned, the adventure continues at Lappa Valley. Families love that there’s so much to enjoy both indoors and outdoors, making it a brilliant day out come rain or shine.

At the heart of the attraction is The Engine Shed — our large indoor space featuring a fantastic multi-level soft play area and family café. Children can climb, slide, crawl, and explore while grown-ups relax nearby with great coffee and freshly prepared food. It’s the perfect place to warm up after outdoor adventures or cool down on sunny days, and gives families somewhere comfortable to enjoy throughout their visit.

Outside, the fun keeps going with train rides, outdoor play areas, woodland walks, trampolines, pedalos, adventure golf, and Frisbee Golf all included in your admission. Because everything is designed around families spending quality time together, you can move between activities at your own pace without feeling rushed.

Whether you’re planning a summer holiday adventure, searching for something to do on a rainy day in Cornwall, or simply looking for somewhere the whole family can enjoy together, Lappa Valley delivers a full day of fun whatever the forecast.

Pay Once and Play All Day

A day out at Lappa Valley is designed to feel easy, relaxed, and great value for families. With our ‘pay once and play all day’ admission, all main activities are included in your ticket — meaning no hidden extras and no constant reaching for your wallet throughout the day.

Families can enjoy unlimited train rides, indoor soft play, outdoor play areas, pedalos, adventure golf, Frisbee Golf, trampolines, woodland walks, and more, all included as part of the experience. That freedom allows visitors to truly settle in and enjoy the day at their own pace, whether that means riding the trains again and again, returning for another turn on the pedalos, or simply letting children play for hours.

Parents and grandparents often tell us how refreshing it feels to visit an attraction where the focus is simply on spending quality time together rather than paying extra for every activity. It creates a much more relaxed atmosphere where families can make the most of their visit without pressure or time limits.

Whether you stay for a few hours or the entire day, Lappa Valley offers a packed family adventure with incredible value and unforgettable memories included from the moment you arrive.

Cornwall’s Secret World of Play and Trains

At Lappa Valley, the adventure starts with a train ride. Step aboard at our car park station and journey into a hidden world filled with play, discovery, and family adventure — something completely unique in Cornwall.

Our three railways are at the heart of the experience, each offering a different journey through the attraction. From steam locomotives and miniature trains to scenic rides around the lake, the railways create magical moments for visitors of all ages. For many children, it’s their very first train ride — and often the highlight of their entire holiday.

But Lappa Valley is so much more than trains. Once you arrive in the valley, you’ll discover a huge range of family activities all included within your admission. Explore outdoor adventure play areas, glide across the lake aboard pedalo swans, tackle adventure golf and Frisbee Golf, bounce on trampolines, or enjoy peaceful woodland walks together.

There’s a real sense of discovery around every corner, helping families slow down, spend quality time together, and make memories that last long after the journey home. It’s a place where adventures feel simple, magical, and genuinely family-focused.
