Mooragh Park
Ramsey, Isle of ManAbout Mooragh Park
Mooragh Park is simply the island's best family park, with Man's only skate park and water play areas as well as a seasonal crazy golf course and a terrific adventure playground! There's also a great BMX Track and a range of modern adult sized exercise equipment: ideal for the teenagers who secretly wish they were still allowed in the playground! The 12 acre lake at the park's centre allows boating, should you happen to have your own little vessel, plus there are sports facilities provided for crown green bowling, tennis and putting. They're managed separately and require pre booking For refreshments you're welcome to picnic or there are 2 differing cafes to choose form by the lake and the boat house respectively. There is a Dark Skies group (which is friendlier than it sounds) who gather here to stargaze regularly because of the lack of light pollution, so it's a great place to take the kids for an evening stroll on clear nights.
