Fenella Beach aka Peel Beach
Peel, Isle of ManAbout Fenella Beach aka Peel Beach
Fenella Beach aka Peel Beach is a soft sandy affair next to Peel Castle and St Patrick's Isle in Peel village, good for sandcastles! It's also good for paddling, though unless you're competent and have back up you should stick to the shallows as there are no lifeguards in place at any time. There are no immediate vicinity amenities to distract the kids so it's a pleasingly natural and inexpensive activity day. There are no dog restrictions either though of course this means you should be keeping an eye on where to clean up! Because it's nicely isolated be sure to take everything you need, from the suncream and drinks to the bats, balls, buckets and spades!
It should be noted that part of this beach is cut off as high tide approaches, so be careful and keep an eye on things!
