Herne Bay Memorial Park
Herne Bay, KentAbout Herne Bay Memorial Park
Memorial Park's new play equipment in 2015 allows children and young people to enjoy more than ever a range of activities such as balancing, climbing, rocking, overhead activity, swinging, jumping, crawling, rotating, imaginative play and social play. So long as you've got dry weather you can't beat a simple trip to the playground, especially if you've got several! Add in a picnic and they're happy for an entire afternoon developing their gross motor and social skills and keeping fit. Or as they call it: playing!
There is also a small lake, open play area, tennis and basketball courts and cricket and football pitches. Plus there's a kitchen garden to explore too, and information boards scattered around to help you get the very most out of your trip. Plus you're in beautiful Herne Bay where you can find other pleasing things to do with the family, so why not make this is a nice kid-centric stop to slip into a fuller family day?
