Is Hang on climbing baby friendly?

No, there are no baby changing facilities. Unfortunately, we can only allow children 4 and up to participate, due to the nature of bouldering. Adults and children share the climbing space, and people fall.

No, not all areas are pushchair friendly. There are viewable spaces all throughout our centre, however toddlers and pushchairs are not allowed in the climbing area.

Is there a restroom for mothers that are breastfeeding?

Yes, there are breastfeeding rooms available.

Will someone supervise my children for me?

No. Supervision must be done by the adult that brings the children. The ratio of children to adults is 2-to-1 (2 kids, one adult). The children MUST be supervised at all times.

Yes, Hang on climbing has stated that you can hire privately for parties/events.

What type of packages do you offer?

The cost for each person is £20, which includes climbing shoe hire and our function room. A party will last 2 hours, this includes an instructor for 1 ½ hours + a 30 min break about halfway through (definitely needed!). Anyone not taking part but watching/observing is free. Parents/guardians do not need to take part. To make a booking we need a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 9. Our instructor will play lots of games but will change what they do depending on what the group want (more climbing/coaching/less games). The minimum age is 6yrs and there is no maximum age. You will have access to the function room for the whole 2 hours so you can decorate it if you’d like. We have some decorations, but you would probably want to bring a few more. We have a small café for snacks and tea/coffee, and you can bring in your own birthday food/drinks/cake. All bookings can be made on our website (https://hangonclimbing.com/book-here/birthdays/).
