If the only place you’ve ever spotted a deer is from afar while you were crossing a field then Belmont Children’s Farm has something rather special up its sleeve.
Getting close to beautiful, gentle animals is what this community farm is all about. Pet and feed lambs, deer, goats, calves, rabbits and guinea pigs and discover which is your favourite! For a small additional fee join the Young Farmers Club and get hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals and learning about their basic needs.
More than animals, the farm also hosts a friendly, local music-based for babies – 4 year olds called KangerRooKids, and the farms hosts all kinds of special events and outings from supporting the local hospice with days out to welcoming over 500 families from The Starlight Charity every year for the past four years.
A special place with a huge heart!

GREAT PLACE FOR CHILDREN & ADULTS 5 out of 5 stars
What a great dayout with my two grandchildren aged 1 and 2 years. Lots of interaction with the animals and easy to get around, staff all very helpful. Cant wait to visit again.Juli
Good farm 4 out of 5 stars
This is a good farm for toddlers. They've got some great animals - chickens, ducks, cows, goats, sheep, deer, alpaca etc. You can hold the rabbits and a few of the other smaller animals. There is also a tractor ride, however this is an extra £2.50, which is disappointing as the entry fee is already £7 for an adult and from £4 for a child over 1.
