Winkworth Arboretum is a fantastic family day out in Surrey, with woodland trails, lakeside walks and acres of beautiful countryside to explore.

Families can enjoy outdoor adventures in the shady Tree Adventure play area, featuring rope tunnels, climbing structures, bridges and a mini climbing wall. Seasonal trails, craft activities and Summer of Play events add even more fun, making Winkworth Arboretum a great place for children to discover nature and burn off energy.

    Winkworth Arboretum is home to over 1,000 different species of trees and shrubs across more than 100 acres of woodland. (There's roughly 6'000 trees there!) The arboretum's tree and plant collection originally belonged to Dr. Wilfrid Fox in the early 20th century.
