About Fossils Galore
Fossils Galore offers an educational experience that is fascinating and fun for all ages.
There are a number of activities on offer such as a Dinosaur hunt and a fossil or crystal hunt in a sand pit. You can also pan for gold or break some geodes and there are art and craft workshops available, with more new activities coming soon.
There is an extensive collection of fossils and crystals from around the world with plenty of information on show and a friendly member of the team on hand to answer any additional questions.
The second floor has a preparation laboratory, where you can see the team working on a range of bones from Ice Age animals to deep sea creatures from the Jurassic era.
We recommend that you allow at least 2 to 3 hours (if not longer) for your visit as there is so much to see and find out about, with some really interesting and beautiful objects on display.
Additional seasonal events are held throughout the year and Fossil hunting trips are also available.
