Attraction Information

Explore life in the early 20th century with a visit to the Erddig house in Wrexham. It’s a unique place where your curious little historians can learn first-hand about the time of their great-grandparents. Discovery trails through the house will keep your kids entertained, while they get to know the daily choirs of a servant - from the yucky task of emptying chamber pots to exhausting 14-hour days.

The stately home offers much to do outdoors, as well. Your kids will go crazy about the Wolf's Den - a giant, 2-care natural play area with den building, rope swings and balancing beams. Explore the beautiful parkland as a family, take a walk down the “cathedral aisle” and take a look from the spectacular viewpoint at the end. Top tip from us - the scenery is particularly impressive in autumn!

Fancy some family-friendly action? Erddig aims to keep its young visitors entertained, so lots of seasonal events are hosted there. From Easter egg hunts to Christmas festivities, your youngsters will have plenty to get down to when those all-important times of the year come.
