Things To Do

Fallow deer roam free across the parkland alongside a huge collection of ancient trees. The extensive gardens feature woodland areas, miniature bridges and a formal lawn that is perfect for picnics. The beautiful Georgian house and historic buildings are also open in the warmer months - giving you the perfect opportunity to step into history and learn about the people who once lived here and cared for this place.

  • An all season garden and a 300 acre deer park

From the Rose Garden in summer to the Winter garden in the cooler months and early spring, the extensive and changing gardens feature the sights and scents of the seasons, perfect for a picnic. In the parkland, herd of around 150 fallow deer call the park at Dunham Massey home. Deer sancturies give them a quiet and safe space and we ask families to enjoy their presence but not touch or feed them.

  • A Georgian house and historic buildings

Dunham Massey's grand Georgian house holds a collection that spans the history of the house. Step inside and bring history to life through the stories and objects that live here.

  • Fun things to do every season

With new trails and activities every season, there’s old favourites and new experiences to which will entertain the family every time. Including Half-Term activities, Easter trails, Summer holiday adventures and festive fun.
