Attraction Information

Dunham Massey
During the First World War this magnificent Georgian house set in a peaceful deer park was dramatically transformed into a military hospital, becoming a healing sanctuary for almost 300 soldiers direct from the trenches. Now you've got the chance to learn their stories of recovery at Dunham Massey.

The medieval Deer park is open all year round for you to discover. Dunham Massey also has a stunning rose garden and one of Britain's finest winter gardens to explore which can help keep you busy if you're waiting for a timed ticket to kick in, plus there are plenty of floral and natural effects which roll with the seasons to inspire throughout the year and make it an interesting walk even on repeat visits.
