Take a front row and watch as planes take off and land at City Airport & Heliport in Salford. This is the perfect attraction for plane-lovers of all ages - it’s open all year round, it’s free and you can stay as long as you like!
Invite the kids to act out their aviation dreams at the Play Zone. You won’t have to ask twice! This fun outdoor play area features all the classics - swings, fireman's pole and a slide, as well as a Control Tower building with climbing net and a ride-on aeroplane.
Make a day out of it - bring some food and have a picnic! City Airport & Heliport has a designated picnic area with lots of tables where you can sit and still see the planes passing in the sky above. Let’s just say, by the end of the day, the whole family will be flying high!
