Attraction Information

If you could wish for one superpower, would it be to fly or be invisible? At iFLY Indoor Skydiving Manchester forget about wishes - feel what it’s really like to fly with their state-of-the-art, 14ft diameter wind tunnel! Invisibility hopefully coming soon...

Find your wings in the heart of Trafford City - aka Mecca for footy fans! It’s the first wind tunnel to be built in the UK and is a chance to be (literally) blown away. You’ll experience the thrill of freefall without parachutes, wires or any worries about safety as your body is supported by a smooth cushion of air. It’s total freedom as you soar on the spot.

The centre is all inclusive with wheelchair access and a team of highly trained instructors. Visitors aged 3 to 103 can take part and, if they really love the experience, can ‘earn their wings’ with a dedicated training course. Soon enough they’ll be kicking, flipping and even competing in the wind tunnel! Equally, if you choose not to take to the ‘skies’, keep your feet firmly on the ground with a cuppa in the viewing area.

  • UK’s first wind tunnel
