Cudmore Grove Country Park
East Mersea, EssexAbout Cudmore Grove Country Park
You can start your trip to the Green Flag Awarded Cudmore Grove Country Park with a stop at the Information Room, where information from the Educational Rangers can help you plan your day and you can check out the site maps. Then it's time to explore!
Cudmore incorporates within its borders the eastern end of Mersea Island meaning it's got its own delightfully sandy beach as well as the woodland and scrub surrounding it. So whether you've got weather for paddling in the shallows or weather for a woodland welly walk there are loads of environments to choose from in the one country park.
There are also designated cycle routes including hard and flat paths and there are designated horse riding routes too, used by local stables.
Handily for families (because someone always needs a wee) there are spacious standard, disabled access and baby changing facilities in the park too near the refreshment kiosk.
Somewhat unusually they also offer birthday parties here! For something truly different for your little one's next big day you can choose from themed fairies and wizards parties or adventurous mini beast hunts! Contact the park office to book!
