Go all out traditional at this Victorian seaside resort with fish and chips, ice cream and if you’re feeling confident, one of those old fashioned strongman swimsuits! Take your pick at Cromer Beach.
This is a sand and shingle beach with plenty to keep your mini merpeople busy. Who doesn’t love a day at the seaside? The sound of the ocean, sand between your toes and most importantly, an ice cream in hand. It’s great family fun and a cheap and easy way to get out of the house. Just be sure to prepare for all eventualities - that includes swimming cossies AND raincoats!
There are also lifeguards on duty which is always welcome news as a parent. Oh, and the nearest town to the beach is Cromer.
