The Bure Valley Railway is a, fifteen inch, narrow gauge steam and diesel railway in North Norfolk which runs from Between the old market town of Aylsham and the Capital of the Broads at Wroxham, a distance of nine miles and takes approximately 45 minutes for a single journey.
There are also smaller stations at Brampton, Buxton, and Coltishall.
Combined train and boat tickets are available which not only include a return train journey beginning from Aylsham, but an hour and a halves cruise afloat around the Norfolk Broads.
At Christmas time they operate the popular Santa Specials. Your Christmas treat starts when you join one of the pre-booked express trains from Wroxham. Every child will receive a special present from Santa himself. (Advanced booking is essential.)
