Bring your young aviators to their new multi-sensory outdoor play experience the Weston Play Zone, suitable for aspiring pilots of all ages and access needs! Drawing upon the historic legacy of IWM Duxford and with accessibility at its core, the Play Zone is three times the size of their previous playground and offers endless fun and adventure. The Weston Play Zone is located next to the Armoury Café, so you’ll be able to relax and refuel while the kids play. No reservations or additional tickets are needed; just turn up and take off!
They recommend allowing at least half a day for your visit, with time to refuel in the onsite cafes and restaurants.

The museum has several dining options for families. The Armoury Café and Kitchen serves various meals, from hearty lunches to light snacks, all with a view of the airfield. It's also open from 10:00 - 15:00 and is located next to the Visitor Centre and Shop.
The American Air Museum Café offers sandwiches, cakes, and drinks for a more casual option. There are also plenty of picnic spots if you prefer to bring your own food.
You can choose from deli sandwiches, freshly made pies, beer-battered fish and chips, lunch bags and various other hot dishes.
