It includes a huge amount of information about Cambridge University, the town and the famous individuals who called Cambridge home which is wonderful for older and more interested types, but for families the fact it's free means that with little ones you can retreat without loss if they're not quite keeping up. Footprints also offers delightfully peaceful Punting trips along the River Cam. You can choose whether to go it alone or take a guide along and get feducated insights in your surroundings as you go. Cambridge also has a central pedestrianised zone, which means one of the best ways to get around is by bike. This is therefore a great way for active families to Cambridge to see the University, as it allows the tour to cover a greater area, show you more colleges and tell you extra history. Travelling around on a bike is also a lot of fun, so they give you the bike for the rest of the day, included in the price! A great way to set yourselves up for a day of swift adventures!
