Fantastic place and location

We had a fantastic time here. We have 2 children under 2 and our toddler loves aeroplanes and flying. We got to sit in lots of cockpits and have hands on learning. We have a double buggy and the team on site were so helpful with letting us in through the bottom doors so we could walk around. The guides are ex pilots and so full of knowledge and amazing tales. The collection is situated right on Old Sarum airfield which has helicopters and light planes constantly taking off right in front of you. Our toddler was amazed for hours! There is also a skydiving company based here so we got to see skydivers parachuting down every hour as well. There is a stunt plane that also takes people up. The views across the valley are beautiful and there is a cafe with outdoor seating area to take in the view. You really need a good day to go here as the airfield and cafe are half of the attraction.
Great for the whole family

My husband, myself and our 4 year old daughter enjoyed this immensely. The guides have all personally worked on the restoration of the planes and they have engaging and interesting stories to tell! What I especially liked about this attraction is that you are not only allowed, but encouraged to sit in the cockpit of many of the planes - which of course my daughter lobed! Highly recommended.
