Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm is a petting farm park that works with the Rare Breed Survival Trust (RBST) and offers a fantastic-value, fun filled family day out, suitable for all ages and interests!
There are so many gorgeous animals for you to meet, feed, cuddle and pet, most of which are British Rare Breeds! Down on The Farm they have: Pigs, Rabbits, Goats, Donkeys, Sheep, Eriskay Ponies, Highland Cow, Alpacas, American Miniature ponies, Ducks, Geese, Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Chickens plus lots of woodland wildlife All of these are in great enclosures so all ages can easily see all of the animals!
There are also great animal activities throughout the day, giving guests lots of opportunities to interact with the animals and the helpful and friendly staff who will gladly answer all of your questions about the animals on The Farm, no matter how wacky! Call ahead to ensure the activities are running.
There are lots of play equipment and areas including the indoor Playbarn as well as the Woodland Adventure Play Area with treehouse, zip-line and nest swing! There is much more play equipment around The Farm, including: Climbing Frames, 3 Trampolines as well as a Nature Walk, Fairy Village and so much more! See if you can find the wild badgers, deer, foxes, squirrels, peacocks, stoats and many other wild animals, when you're walking down on The Farm.
Conveniently located on-site, there is a Café & Bar, which serves delicious homemade food, drinks and cakes all day every day. They welcome guests to just pop in to the cafe for food or drinks, it's a great meeting place even if it's too cold for you to visit the farm itself! There is a gorgeous Gift Shop packed full with some great gifts, toys, homeware and other local artisan products, pop in and have a browse or shop while you wait for your food!

We are an excellent value day out for all the family. Open 7 days a week with a daily schedule of animal experience activities so there’s always plenty to do, including Guinea Pig Fishing, Duck Feeding, Pig Racing and animal petting in Animal Encounters as well as hand feeding or animals, many of which are rare breeds. During the school holidays there is extra entertainment and activities too!
We have a cafe where you can fill hungry bellies!
If you get peckish, we have our onsite shop, café, bar and kitchen open every day offering hot and cold drinks, breakfast, brunch, lunch and sweet treats.

The on-site Stonehenge Hostel is perfect for families and groups of all sizes with 70 beds in 14 bright and airy rooms you can really make a trip of it. Family rooms available.
