What’s wonderful about Streamvale Open Farm is learning all about the dedicated work that goes into animal care. Yummy ice cream, go-karts and tractor rides are simply a bonus!
Streamvale is a family run dairy farm where you can get to know the locals by cuddling puppies, baby rabbits and chicks, while bottle-feeding newborn lambs and goats, as well as watching cows being milked and learning how it’s made into ice-cream. Little animal lovers can enjoy a pony ride or take things up a gear with one of their live shows, particularly dog agility demonstrations and sheep racing in the summer!
Streamvale has both outdoor and indoor play areas - namely the Indoor Play Village - with slides, toy tractors, puzzles and touch boxes, as well as a Trailblaze climbing course. Then, of course, there’s the tractor and barrel rides, as well as everyone's favourite pedal go-karts for super speed fun. After all that activity visit The Creamery café and try some of their homemade ice-cream.

Fantastic Day Out!

I took my nephews here a couple of weeks ago, we all had a great time. The kids loved the hunt for the farmers lost boots, petting all the animals and feeding some of them. The highlight for me were the two beautiful big highland cattle they had, but the kids favoured the petting corner with the puppies! Got lunch at the burger barn. Really reasonable prices and some of the best chips I’ve ever had, the kids meals even came with free ice cream. We’ll definitely be back again and I’d highly recommend it to others!
