Dinosaur Day Out

Hands up if you’ve got a dinosaur fan at home!

Get ready for National Dinosaur Day on the 21st May (trust us, it’s a real thing!) with some roar-some dinosaur days out where you can meet life-sized dinosaur statues, and if you fancy a day in, we’ve some great dinosaur crafts to keep any dinosaur fan happy!

Spring is here, which means lots of baby animals! From chicks and duckies to lambs and…Highland calves?! That’s right, you can find a herd of Highland cows right in the Midlands.

At Lizzie’s Farm, you can even head out on a tour where you can meet all the Highland cows, pet them, take a few snaps with them and visit the other animals too.

If you fancy just a cheap day out, then just wander around the farm, catch the herd beyond the fence grazing and head inside to see the young sheep and even bunnies! Then if you’re peckish, grab a bite to eat – all the food is freshly cooked/baked!
