Now for those who love all things spinning, travelling upside down and round and round, we suggest The Smiler. Did you know it’s the world’s first 14-loop rollercoaster ride? For a little heat, creepy history and the world’s most immersive rollercoaster experience to date, The Wicker Man is not one to miss! With cutting-edge special effects, this classic wooden tech will send you on a trip like no other. You’ll be sent into the burning embers as the ride hurtles you through the six-storey effigy. A ride made of wood and fire… The Wicker Man surely has its quirks that peaks the interest of everyone that walks by. It’s certainly a huge hit with rollercoaster fanatics!
Need for speed? Try out Rita – Alton Towers, a hydraulically launched steel sit-down coaster, one of the best thrill coasters at Alton Towers, and the UK’s 5th fastest rollercoaster! Going from 0-100mph real quick, your hair will be plastered back and you won’t even have time to scream before you’re back. Then if you’re ready to leave Alton Towers Resort to tackle the space around us and break free from Earth’s atmosphere, then glide through the air on Galactica. Or experience a 3.5 G-force on Nemesis – Alton Towers as you hurtle past rocks and rivers in the Forbidden Valley – can you handle 50 mph?!

First, why not try out the NEW indoor attraction and ride – The Curse at Alton Manor?! A hauntingly frightful dark ride filled with terrifying twists and turns – what lurks around the corner?
Embark on a 45-minute journey as you take on The Alton Towers Dungeon – you’ll experience 5 shows, a boat ride, 6 themed areas and a delightful fright too. Don’t forget to head to Hex – The Legend of the Towers for a mind-bending, heart-pounding multi-sensory experience.
Now, if you’re in need of laughter, If you’re looking for something fun and whacky, try the spinning roller coaster, Spinball Whizzer – that’s super crazy, hilarious and will have you feeling dizzy but all in the name of fun! What’s also fun is the Alton Towers Retro Squad! From Twistatron and Spinjam to Funk’n’Fly. A thrilling experience filled with funky vibes, electric atmospheres and mind-bending twirls.
But of course, if they’re ready to pull off the greatest heist of all time, they only need to make their way to Gangsta Granny The Ride in The Towers themed area for an experience like no other.

Aquatic Rides & Attractions
Head to Sharkbait Reef for some aquatic fun! With the UK’s first Tropical Interactive Pool where you’ll find tiny shrimp to nibble at your fingers, but also various fish that you can discover. Walk around and you’ll also find spotted rays, sea horses, blacktip sharks and chocolate chip starfish too! There are over 300 species of aquatic life here for you to discover with the kids! It’s an indoor attraction you can head to if there’s a little rain but you can also all enjoy too. With interactive features like the touch pool, it’s a unique experience the kids will love.
Alton Towers has only has one water ride – The Congo River Rapids and it’s a good one! The perfect splash-tastic ride for any age where you’ll get a good soaking. As you spin, bump and whirl through waterfalls. Will you come out dry? We think not!

Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop in CBeebies Land is a family favourite! See the kids unleash their inner bunny as they bounce high into the sky – and you can join them too! It’s the perfect Peter Rabbit ride that they’ll love and keep coming back for more.
Then if you have little sailors who are ready for a sea-venture head to Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure as they join Captain Barnacles and his gnarly crew! And if you’re kids are itching to become pirates then a trip on Heave Ho in Mutiny Bay is the perfect ride.
Although, if they prefer to take a hands-on approach and get behind the wheel, then maybe the Cuckoo Cars Driving School is the crazy and colourful experience they’ve been waiting for. A chance to drive the hottest wheels in town!
