Chessington World of Adventures Resort

Chessington World of Adventures is one of the UK’s fabulous theme parks that offers more rides for people with all kinds of thrill tolerance levels. Enjoy everything from toddler train rides to flying coasters like Vampire, and classic water rides for those who enjoy a soggier kind of thrill.

With over 40 rides and attractions, there’s an abundance of fun that you can have here, whether you love heights, spinning around, feeling your stomach drop or even getting a little bit wet. Jumanji Land is a brand-new world that has opened its jungle gates to the public…

Brave adventurers are invited to explore the world’s first Jumanji-themed land! Follow in the footsteps of Dr Bravenstone through a world of adventure and take on all the newest rides from the Jaguar’s Eye Jewel to Mandrill Mayhem!

There are three brand-spanking-new rides in this world including the world’s only Jumnaji rollercoaster! There are plenty more cool attractions to enjoy in this new world too like the Ostrich Stampede and the Mamba Strike!

If you’re a lover of this classic film then you will relish the immersive adventures on offer in Chessington’s new world… And if you want to go one step further then you should extend your stay and book a night in the World of Jumanji Themed Bedroom. Croc Drop

If your goal is to board the most exhilarating and stomach-dropping rollercoaster, then head over to the Croc Drop. Enter a world of ancient Egypt and dare to plunge 25m into the giant jaws of the Egyptian crocodile God, Sobek. Who has been possessed by the evil spirits, your aim? Banish them away for good, as you plunge down into the throat to release the spirits and bring water back to the Nile.

Vampire

Prepare yourself for an adventure in the sky with Vampire. Flying through the air as if you’re a bat, soaring over treetops, with your legs dangling on this family-friendly roller coaster! It’s a fang-tastic, popular ride that will leave you wanting more and more.

The Dragon's Fury

Looking for more animal-themed rides? The Dragon’s Fury is your next best shot! It’s a key attraction that will have you spinning round and round, feeling the dizziness set in through the Dragon’s anger. As you swoop, dip and dive, no matter what seat you sit in, it’ll be a different experience every time. Try them all out!

Kobra

Another spinning ride is Kobra, from the ruins of Wild Asia is an untamed cobra taking you on a whirlwind of an adventure as your zoom forwards and backwards, or in circles. Hitting an incredible speed of 43mph! You’ll feel totally immersed in this Indian Jungle theme world.

Tomb Blaster

If you like the Egyptian theme, you should board Tomb Blaster and battle the Curse of the Mummy. Travel through the ancient labyrinth with your laser gun as you aim for the cursed mummies and scarab beetles. How high will you score?

Zufari: Ride Into Africa

Come face to face with majestic African animals like the White Rhino, Giraffe and Grevy’s Zebra as you embark on a thrilling off-road truck journey! If your kids love animals and adventure it’s the perfect experience for them! But just remember to keep your eyes peeled for unexpected dangers as trek through the African plains…

Temple of Mayhem

Kids aged 4 years and over, are you feeling brave? Wander the ruins of an old Asian temple that is filled with a wide variety of amusements. Shoot your fellow adventures with water cannons, run wild around the two-storey house and plunge into the centre of the giant ball pit!

Chessington World of Adventures Water Rides

Tiger Rock

Now, if you’re a fan of tigers AND water rides, Tiger Rock is the next ride on the list. A major attraction set in Land of the Tiger, not only is it the home of four beautiful Amur tigers but Europe’s first specifically designed area that allows the tiger to roam freely as guests observe from below the tiger enclosures. AND You can interact with them too!

Tiger Rock, however, is an exhilarating log flume ride where you’ll be able to see the tigers as you whizz down the track, right through a giant tiger rock mouth, with a big SPLASH.

Blue Barnicle

For a nautical-themed adventure, climb aboard the Blue Barnacle as you set off on a nautical adventure. The unknown waters are rough in those parts and your ship is stuck! You’ll need the help of the Captain to free the ship and set sail.

River Rafts

After that, make a splash with the River Rafts, a mini-log flume for those water babies, that will have them screaming with delight.

Sea Dragons

Tame those naughty Sea Dragons on a little circular family boat ride adventure around the high seas. You’ll sail around on Viking-themed boats around a large dragon egg centrepiece. So yeah, it’s very mystical on this ride…

Scorpion Express

Then thunder around on the Scorpion Express as you try to escape the scorpions in the abandoned town and cross the ruins of the gold mines!

Griffin's Galleon

Animal Experiences at Chessington SEA LIFE Centre & Zoo

Need a break from rides? Get in touch with your wild side at Chessington SEA LIFE Centre & Zoo! Meet colourful animals and creatures from jungles and oceans all over the world from lorikeets to white rhinos, golden-headed lion tamarins lizards, zebras, tropical fish and more! Admire the world’s largest tiger species walk above you in Europe’s first overhead trails. With over 1,000 amazing animals, like an Asiatic lion, gorillas, spider monkeys and more, you’ll see a whole host of animals that you may not have seen before.

Touch Pool

Head over to the Touch Pool and have the dead skin under your nails gobbled up by cleaner fish and so much more!

Lorikeet Lagoon

Get nose to beak with the theme park’s most colourful birds – lorikeets! Grab a cup of food and feed them. If you’re lucky you may even encourage a lorikeet to perch on your hand!

Meet Saki Monkeys on the Monkey Walk

Say hey to Iggy and Lana on the monkey walk! These fluffy Saki monkeys spend most of their time in the trees looking for fruit, nuts and seeds. You’ll learn how to identify the females against the males due to their appearance while looking out for them in the canopy of the animal reserve.

Sealion Bay

Watch Native American Sea Lions dive and leap out of the water during park feeds. Learn about these fascinating Californian sea lions during live shows and keeper talks.

The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure

For fans of The Gruffalo, there is one specific Chessing World of Adventure ride that will be calling out your name. The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure is a magical dark water ride where you’ll journey through the deep dark wood in a riverboat. Floating down lazily, you’ll be surprised with your favourite characters from the beloved book.

This is a dark ride with atmospheric effects that will amaze you, with twists around every corner.

Monkey Swinger

Do you have little monkeys? Let them release their cheekiness and mischief on the Monkey Swinger! Whatever your age, everyone loves a good swing, but how about one high in the air swinging around in circles? Soaring higher and higher, spinning round and round… mind you, you may get a little wet.

Elmer-themed Ride

Not forgetting the little ones! There are plenty of little thrills for them that they can enjoy. Discover the first Elmer-themed ride, and join your favourite patchwork elephant as you and his friends soar above the ground and into the sky!

Treetop Hopper

Then wander into the rainforest, and hop aboard the Treetop Hoppers, as you bounce over tree canopies, as you catch a glimpse of the wildlife that live in animal enclosures, as you fly high above the jungle below. With height restrictions of 0.9m+, it’s a perfect ride for young ones.

Jungle Rangers

Staying in the jungle, the whole family can journey through the Rainforest with Jungle Rangers. This time the kids are in control and will navigate along the bumpy roads. Can you spot all the wildlife out there?

Amazu Treetop Adventure

Take on adventure trail walkways and reach roarsome heights! You may even get the chance to interact with actual monkeys!

What are the height restrictions at Chessington World of Adventures?

Most of the rides at Chessington World of Adventure have a height restriction of under 0.9m – 1.4m minimum. And little riders can enjoy various attractions when accompanied by an adult over the age of 16!
