Set within a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of Snowdonia, Zip World Llechwedd is one of the most extraordinary adventure destinations in the UK. Built around a disused slate mine that stretches 500ft underground, it offers 6 adventures above and below ground - from a four-person zip line with quarry views to underground trampolining in a cavern twice the size of St Paul's Cathedral.
Whether you're after an adrenaline-fuelled challenge, a family-friendly bounce, a round of adventure golf in a cave, or a fascinating journey into 19th-century mining history, there's something here for every age and ability. And because the majority of adventures take place underground, it's fully weather-proof - a brilliant choice whatever the forecast.
Things to do
Kick off your day with Zip World Titan - Europe's largest zip zone, featuring a four-person zip line so the whole family can go together. Strap in on the Bravo and Charlie lines for serious thrills and sweeping views across the quarry.
Head underground for Bounce Below - a one-of-a-kind subterranean playground suspended across three levels inside a vast slate cavern. Bounce, slide and explore six netted chambers in a space that stays at a steady 6-8°C all year round. Arms and legs must be covered, and trainers or boots are required.
Up for the ultimate challenge? The Caverns (ages 10+) is a three-hour underground course featuring 13 zip lines, rope bridges and tightropes deep inside a mine disused for over 200 years.
Prefer something at a slower pace? Underground Golf takes you 500ft below ground via Europe's steepest cable railway for an 18-hole course set across four floors, complete with lighting displays and interactive elements. Temperature underground is a comfortable 7°C - dress sensibly.
Spend 1.5 hours soaking up history on the Deep Mine Tour, travelling 500ft underground on Europe's steepest railway to explore 16 underground levels and uncover the stories of the miners who worked here.
And for the little ones or those new to zip lines, Big Red offers two side-by-side zip lines at a gentler pace - perfect for nervous first-timers or younger family members.

Zip World Llechwedd offers birthday party packages for children aged 4-15, with Adventurer, Explorer and Ranger options available. Bounce Below at Zip World Llechwedd offers the unqie experience for kids and big kids alike to unleash themselves on our six trampoline-style nets. The nets are built into the caves of a disused mine in North Wales. This is a subterranean wonderland suspened on three levels, suitable for kids of all ages and the family! All our underground adventures are perfect for a rainy day too!
Big Red Zip Line
The perfect introduction for little thrill seekers. Big Red features two side-by-side zip lines that let the more nervous or smaller ones in the family experience the thrill of a zip line. The zip line allows you to have a go with your child offering support along side them and creating a special memory.
