Whitley Bay Ice Rink

Whitley Bay Ice Rink is a year-round indoor day out for families, beginners and confident skaters alike. As the North East’s only public ice rink, it offers public skating sessions, family sessions, lessons, ice hockey, parties and special events throughout the year.

Little ones can build confidence with skate frames available to hire, while children aged two and over can join skating lessons. Each public skating session lasts around two hours, with quieter sessions usually available on weekdays before 6pm.
