Andersonstown Leisure Centre

Andersonstown Leisure Centre is a £25 million family water fun destination in West Belfast, and genuinely one of the best days out on this list. Three high-speed water slides include the Abyss (a vertical drop slide - the first of its kind in Ireland), the Torrent master blaster and the Vortex body slide, plus there's a huge Aqua Play adventure zone with a giant tipping water bucket for little ones. Kids can also catch a wave on Surf Belfast, Northern Ireland's only indoor surf simulator. Beyond the water there's a 140-station gym, studios, an outdoor 4G football pitch and a cafe. Note that waterslide sessions run on a seasonal schedule, so it's worth checking before you travel.
