Strawberry Line Miniature Railway
Bristol, Somerset and BristolAbout Strawberry Line Miniature Railway
Strawberry Line Miniature Railway, set in the grounds ofAvon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park at Keynsham, is the longest ground level 5” gauge railway in the West Country, with fantastic scale steam and diesel locomotives to ride behind. Great fun, whatever your age!
The Railway has a total of three quarters of a mile of track with around two thirds of a mile of running track. Fantastic features include a tunnel, turntable, Motive Power Depot, carriage sheds, and an automatic signalling system.
Their recently opened model railway exhibit shows what can be done using proprietary “out of the box” models with a bit of imagination, and is sure to inspire kids. The railway is a work in progress, so there is often something new to see too.
They have Mini Tractor Rides, which take visitors through the fields and meadows in the country park. From here you can see all the parks animals and the scenery surrounding them. These operate when required, so hop on and enjoy!
