Sea Life Hunstanton

Head out on an underwater odyssey at SEA LIFE Hunstanton! It’s a state of the art safe haven for over 2,000 curious and cuddly creatures.

This is Norfolk’s only seal sanctuary that’s open to the public. It’s a dedicated rescue centre where they rehabilitate and release more than 40 orphaned or poorly pups every year! You can say hello through an underwater viewing area to ‘new arrivals’ and juveniles in the spacious nursery ward. You’ll also have close encounters with a vast variety of other sealife, like a colony of Humboldt Penguins, teeny tiny shrimp, Amazonian Piranhas, turtles and sharks! A family favourite unsurprisingly are the adorable Asian Short Clawed Otters whose tumble and play have hearts melting!

Alongside lots of high- tech displays, there’s a brand new portion of the sanctuary which drags you out onto dry land and into the rainforest. Their team of Rangers will give you the guided tour with introductions to all kinds of jungle beasties!
