Come and have an underwater adventure at the National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham with 60 displays of freshwater and marine life, featuring over 2000 creatures. Don’t miss the chance to walk in the UK’s only 360° Ocean Tunnel where sharks, rays and even a giant green sea turtle will be swimming right by you! Psst, you'll even get to say Hi to a few marine mammals too!

Dive into the National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham and come face-to-fin with over 2,000 fascinating creatures including the UK’s first and only sea otters, Ozzy and Ola! Marvel at the cheeky antics of the adorable Gentoo penguins before immersing yourself in the UK’s only 360° Ocean Tunnel as sharks, rays and even a giant green sea turtle swim around you.

Transport & Parking for Visitors

Travelling by Train

The nearest stations are Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill - follow walking signs for the ICC (International Convention Centre) and Arena Birmingham.

Travelling by Car

M6 Jct 6 or M5 Jct 3 and follow signs for the city centre and the Arena Birmingham, the National SEA LIFE Centre is also well signposted on main routes into the city.

Please note that dropping off is not permitted within Brindley Place.

Parking

The closest place to park is the South car park at the adjoining Utilita Arena Birmingham

Travelling by Bus

You can take any bus to Birmingham City Centre and follow walking signs for the ICC (International Convention Centre) and The Barclaycard Arena.

Buses serving Broad Street, include numbers 1, 9, 10, 22, 23, 24, 29, 29a, 126.

Please note that dropping off is not permitted in Brindley Place.
