By Train
The nearest main train station to Birmingham Hippodrome is Birmingham New Street, which is just a 10-minute walk from the theatre. New Street is one of the busiest stations in the UK, with frequent services from cities like London, Manchester, and Bristol.
From Birmingham New Street:
Exit the station via the Southside (Hill Street) exit.
Head south on Hill Street, and turn left onto Hurst Street.
Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you'll see the Hippodrome on your right.
Alternatively, Moor Street and Snow Hill stations are both within a 15-20 minute walk of the theatre.
By Bus
Birmingham city centre is well-served by buses, and several routes stop near the Hippodrome. Key bus routes that pass through the area include:
No. 60 – Stopping at Hurst Street, just outside the theatre.
No. 61, 62, and 63 – These buses all run through the city centre and stop at nearby Smallbrook Queensway, a short walk from the Hippodrome.
