Shrek Cafe Birmingham
Birmingham, West MidlandsAbout Shrek Cafe Birmingham
Big news! The Shrek-themed café has left the building… but something out of this world just landed in the Primark Cafe! Can you guess who? Here’s a hint: they’re blue, adorable, and totally iconic.
Have you ever wanted to try Donkey's waffles or one of Fairy Godmother's potions? Well, now you can at the Birmingham Primark Cafe!
Yes, you read that right!
Everyone's favourite ogre has come to Primark! And he's bought a range of scrumptious snacks that will have you thinking Ogres really are like cakes!
The Shrek Cafe
Are you ready to step into the world of Far Far Away?
In true ogre fashion, the front of the cafe is set up like a magical forest! Will you spot the iconic Beware of Ogre sign? Enjoy nice snacks surrounded by fun character displays, tree-shaped signs pointing to far-off lands and quirky Far Far Away newspaper clippings! The whole gang will be there to make your cafe experience Shrek-tastic!
Don't forget to check out Primark's new Shrek-themed clothing range! They've got Shrek and Donkey onesies and slippers, so you can match with your bestie!
Delicious Treats
The Shrek-themed Primark cafe has an incredible limited-edition menu fit for a fairytale! With a range of Shrek-themed food and drinks, you'll definitely find something to enjoy.
Enjoy Swampchos - nachos, complete with tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole, sour cream AND green cheese slime! Or the Ogres Have Layers toastie! (Psst, it's a cheese and onion toastie). If you fancy something a bit sweeter, then you have to try Donkey's Waffle Shakes or just the Donkey Waffle strips.
Not forgetting Shrek's Gourmet Grub waffle! It's a green waffle with chocolate ice cream, green marshmallows, gummy works, Oreo crumb, pistachio and white chocolate sauce. Now, this waffle is definitely fit for an ogre. (Shrek said so himself!)
You'll also find a range of 'potion drinks' (flavoured lemonade with a twist), bubble tea, decadent shakes and hot drinks - including Gingy's Latte and a Mud Pie hot chocolate!
We absolutely recommend the Mud Pie hot chocolate! It comes with a chocolate brownie on top - and plenty of whipped cream!
Why we recommend the Shrek Cafe!
First of all, it's themed after the most iconic film franchise in history! Need we say more?
The cafe is also in the biggest Primark in the world - which means you can shop til you drop! And there is a range of fun and delicious food options available for hungry shoppers. We think the green ogre approves that!
So get out of your swamp and head down to Birmingham Primark Cafe for the ultimate Shrek-tastic cafe experience!
