RSPB Loch Leven
Kinross, Perth and KinrossAbout RSPB Loch Leven
Loch Leven nature reserve is a haven for families, nature lovers and wildlife watchers alike. There are plenty of trails to explore and families can enjoy den building, hire pond dipping kits or explorer backpacks or get involved in our self-led trails and events to suit the whole family.
The accessible visitor centre has an RSPB shop and a cafe with amazing views and serves freshly prepared and organic food. There are always friendly staff and volunteers to welcome you and point you in the direction of an adventure.
If the cafe isnt your cup of tea the wee ones can run off some steam while you relax in the picnic area overlooking the loch and surrounding hills.
Red Squirrels are regularly seen around the visitor centre and woodland areas, while dragonflies and bees enjoy the ponds and wild flower meadow in the warmer months.
The toilet facilities include a Changing Places toilet, and we have two mobility scooters available for visitors to hire. The car park has EV charging points and Blue Badge bays.
