About The Royal Yacht Britannia

Discover what life was like onboard Queen Elizabeth II’s former floating Royal residence with a trip to The Royal Yacht Britannia!

Home to Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Family for over 40 years, it is now Tripadvisor’s No.1 UK Attraction. Follow in the footsteps of world leaders including Winston Churchill, Rajiv Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. Take the complimentary audio guide, available in 31 languages as well as a children’s version and learn more about this iconic ship. The tour covers five decks, including the State Apartments, Crew’s Quarters and gleaming Engine Room.

Kids will love the 11-foot LEGO replica of Britannia! Remember to spot the cuddly corgis in the Cuddly Corgi Treasure Hunt. Relax in the Royal Deck Tearoom and enjoy the waterfront views with freshly baked cakes and scones, soups and sandwiches, all made in the Royal Galley.
