Discover a wooded valley full of surprises at Colby Woodland Garden! This wonderful secret garden is a naturally great place for kids to play. From peaceful walks in the woodlands, to enjoying the sun in the beautiful gardens, and having fun with the little ones by the stream - you’ll have a wonderful family day out, away from the noise of city life.
There’s plenty to do with the kids at Colby’s! Chase dragonflies and butterflies in the green meadow by the stream, hop along the stepping stones and play pooh sticks on the log bridge. More time on your hands? Get crafty - build dens in the woods, start a campfire and cook your own food (don’t forget to bring those all-important marshmallows). Your tots will love the rope swings too!
Have you ever tried duck racing? Colby Woodland Garden is home to a few speedy ducks you can borrow for a race on the stream. Another must-do is pond dipping - kits are free! Just bring a picnic, enjoy games with the kids in the meadows and relax.
