About Fulham Palace House and Garden London

Enjoy a day out at the historic grounds of Fulham Palace on the River Thames. Built in 658, this stately house has been the country residence of the Bishops of London for over 1300 years. Lots of famous historical figures have lived there and now you’ve got the chance to walk in their footsteps.

Things to do for families

Love a good family walk? Fulham Palace has extensive walled gardens (13 acres to be precise) with authentic 18th and 19th century layout. Go for a stroll with the kids to see beautiful and rare specimen all around - from Bishop Henry Compton’s famous plants collection to the 500-years-old evergreen oak at the south side of the main loan.

Free family trails to suita all ages are available taking you through the museum, historic rooms and gardens.

Family fun days

Monthly themed family fun days throughout the year. These include crafts, activities and games.

13 acre garden and child's play area

There's plenty of space for little ones to run around and a play area on the main lawn keeps them active.
