About Planet Ice Leeds
Planet Ice Leeds is one of Yorkshire's best-loved family attractions, offering year-round indoor ice skating at its rink on Elland Road in Beeston. Open 365 days a year, it's one of the few family days out that works whatever the weather, whatever the season, and for children of almost any age.
The rink caters for a wide range of abilities and ages. Public skating sessions are open to everyone aged 3 and upwards, with skating aids available to hire for nervous beginners. For the youngest visitors, the dedicated Penguin Club sessions are designed specifically for under-5s, with penguin-shaped skating frames included and free admission for one accompanying adult. It's a gentler, quieter introduction to the ice than a busy public session, and a much better starting point for toddlers taking their first wobbly steps on skates.
