Attraction Information
At Abbey House Museum step back in time and wander through the enchanting streets, shops and houses and experience life as a Victorian.
As a fun, family friendly and interactive museum, Abbey House Museum is a great day out for all the family! On special event days see people in traditional Victorian costume wander the recreated Victorian Streets, or come to one of their many family session where they read, play games and have fun!
Visit Stephen Harding Gate, the 19th century equivalent of a modern high street, for some old fashioned retail therapy. You can even take a break in the Hark to Rover Inn, a recreated model of a Victorian drinking house!
The poorer residential district of Abbey Fold examines life and death in Victorian times. Compare the warm comfortable home of the successful pawnbroker with the chilly premises of the undertakers. Wonder at the displays showing rare and interesting 19th Century toys, games and dolls in the shop on Harewood Square. You can even take your place for class at the local Methodist Sunday school!

Reviews
not much there for price 3 out of 5 stars
My daughter was only really interested in the book nook and the dolls houses you could play with. so wasnt really worth the money as was only really in there for 45 minutes. The things in the gift shop were also over priced.
