Are you a city or a country person? Regardless of your choice of dwelling a change of scene is often as good as a rest – or so they say. Thankfully with places like Mudchute Park Farm you can find out if that’s true!
As one of the largest inner city farms in Europe even the most committed high-rise and traffic jam lovers will get a kick out of this doorway to green spaces, fresh air and nature. Set in 32 acres of countryside, over 100 animals bring this farm to life including cattle, sheep, pigs, coats, donkeys, llamas, chickens, ducks, geese and an aviary.
In the Pet Corner you can handle rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets, however if it’s the bigger animals you’re interested in you can pre-book a farm tour at an additional cost. While you’re walking around take the time to enjoy the amazing array of nature dressed up in its finest colours of the season, sure to plant a love for the country into the most stoic city dweller’s heart.
