Leeds Sailing and Activity Centre offers school holiday programmes for children and lots of water based activities to try out as a family, making it a great location for an active fun day out.
There are plenty of different activities available. Water based activities include Sailing, Powerboats, Canoeing, Kayaking, Bell boating, Rowing, and windsurfing. They also offer Royal Yacht Association courses and British Canoe Union courses. Boat hire is available either from reception, or by pre booking.
If the kids prefer to stay on land, there are plenty of options for them too, such as Off Road biking, Orienteering, Climbing or Abseiling, Wall Traversing, and Bush Craft. Problem solving and Team building activities are also available.
The centre has a number of Open Days if you would like to try some of these fantastic outdoor activities, and they offer adult and junior beginner courses in rowing and windsurfing. Birthday parties are available too, if you little adventurer fancies a party with a difference!
