About Heartlands
Heartlands is one of those fantastic local resources that once you've discovered you'll be there once a month and talking about it in-between - not only because it's brilliant, but also because it's free!
They are talking over 19 scenic but fun packed acres of uber modern exterior exhibitions, superb climb-on sculptures, gardens of pretty epic diversity, a giant adventure playscape for kids, plus art and craft studios and a funky family cafe housed in the Old Carpenter's Workshop.
With vast swathes of green outdoor space ideal for playing family games on warm, sunny days and ever-intriguing indoor space for when it's wet or you've had too much sun (those two stalwart conditions of the British summer!) Heartlands is an all-year round, all-weather entertainment for anyone and everyone. Go see, go play and go wow!
Plus at various seasonal opportunities there are also an exciting mix of farmers' markets, culturally based festivals, family suitable live dance shows, music events, even more art exhibitions and live theatre too! A truly fantastic family space that won't cost you a penny to enjoy. Brilliant! And take a camera along too, there are oodles of wonderful spots for photos of the kids with artistic and natural backdrops - or both!
