Paradise Park and JungleBarn

Help feed the cute Pygmy goats and Ouessant sheep down on the Fun Farm. Each day there are 150 little bags of ‘Goat and Sheep Food’ which are available to buy on entry.

See the wonderful otter family, including mum Pippin and dad Katarni, along with their teenage pups, during feeding times.

The large colony of Humboldt’s penguins will be fed twice a day and includes a fascinating Keeper talk.

See the amazing summer ‘Eagles of Paradise’ display (Easter to the end of September). You may see birds of prey like Tangee the Palm-nut Vulture, Dakota the Bald Eagle or Angelo the Bateleur Eagle. Followed by a up close photo opportunity at the end of the show when the Keepers bring out one or two of birds of prey and answer questions. Weather permitting.

Experience 'Flight of the Rainbows'. You can buy a small pot of nectar and help feed these lovely little parrots in their walk-through aviary in the walled garden.

The popular summer afternoon ‘Free Flying Bird Show’ features stunning macaws, Amazon parrots, choughs and other birds flying free. On the stage and across the picnic lawn. A great opportunity to learn about natural bird behaviours in a wonderfully entertaining way and capture amazing photographs.

Have a cockatoo fly to your hand!

A unique and fun way for the staff and birds to fundraise for Paradise Park’s conservation projects. You have the opportunity to go up on the main stage at the end of the afternoon ‘Free Flying Bird Show’ to give a £1 or £2 donation. Roseate Cockatoos Billy, Rizzo or Rio will be ready to fly to your hand, collect the coin, fly back to the presenter and place it into the collection tin. Great fun and a very popular experience, all for a good cause.

On good weather days the Jungle Express Train, with Zebedee its loco, will be out for a spin! Board the train near the picnic lawn and set off through the gardens of Glanmor House on two circuits around the grounds of the house (not the whole Park). Includes the top section of Parrot Jungle, a trip through a tunnel with Twinkly Lights leading to behind the scenes at the back of the house. For train times please check when you arrive. There is a small extra charge.

Treat yourself to a light lunch or cream tea, with Kids’ Lunchboxes and ice creams available at the Otter Pool Café with plenty of picnic tables and benches throughout the Park, plus snack bar inside the JungleBarn Play Centre.
