Attraction Information

Who says fitness is no fun? Go for gold at Lee Valley Athletics Centre where all sorts of facilities and an actual ‘minithon’ make for active tots.

For a lot of parents, getting kids physical is a challenge, so why not mix things up with a day out and chance to compete with their pals? We think the ‘Minithon’ is a great way to get little legs busy with relay racing, long and high jump and throws. They can also get some expert input from fully qualified instructors.

It’s one of the largest athletics centres serving London and as such it’s got massive indoor and outdoor facilities. Kids can race for the top spot on an outdoor 400m, 8-lane track and field events are surrounded by a 350-seat audience. Equally, the inside is just as impressive with an enormous 130-metre sprint straight.

  • Get kids fit!
  • Make mini-Olympians at the ‘Minithon’
  • Indoor and outdoor facilities
